[rhelv6-beta-list] weird startx issue

So I just submitted a weird bug into bugzilla:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=610233

But because of that issue, I want to go start another session from a
virtual console so I can fix more easily.

I got an unexpected error:

------------------------------------------------------------------------
[gsgatlin at vaporware ~]$ startx -- :1
xauth: creating new authority file /home/gsgatlin/.serverauth.3752

Fatal server error:
PAM authentication failed, cannot start X server.
Perhaps you do not have console ownership?

  for help.

giving up.
xinit: No such file or directory (errno 2): unable to connect to X
server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

I know this worked well in RHEL 6 beta 1. Should I file a bugzilla on this
or is there something I am doing wrong?

Thanks for any ideas,
