Unfortunately you do not provide any configuration information nor
precise log content.

I suspect the Sendmail relay does not have the domain name used by the
Postfix hosts as MASQUERADE_DOMAIN; see class {M} output:

echo '$=M' | /usr/lib/sendmail -bt
