Forgot to mention: I've been trying to get serial connectivity, but the 
docs are not terribly clear about how to do it. The pinout they describe 
in the appendix of the hardware installation guide doesn't make sense, 
at least not to me.

I bought a  DB9F to RJ11 Modular to D-Sub Adaptor Kit from Fry's and I 
*thought* I plugged it together right, but I get nothing from minicom. 
Of course, I am going over a USB to serial adapter, and I know that 
introduces its own set of oddities, so...
