[rhelv6-list] I know this is a stretch, but...

Tom,
I have removed pins hundreds of times from those connectors using a paper clip. There
is a specialty tool for removing those pins, but I never seem to have it with me when
I need it. Using the small normal sized paper clip, bend the outermost part 90 degrees
up. Then place the clip on a desk the way it would normally lay. Then press the dsub
pin hole onto the paper clip with about 10 pounds of force. There will be a snap and
the pin will be free. Only takes 1/8 of an inch movement. I have removed and replaced
wires 1/2 dozen times on the same connector without problems.

Save you a trip to Frys ( and keep you from spending another $100 for other stuff you
**need** =)
