True, the WS product doesn't come with an FTP server, but vsftpd from
RHL9
will work:
ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/updates/9/en/os/i386/vsftpd-1.1.3-
8.i386.rpm
Better yet, use a mirror site:
http://redhat.com/download/mirror.html

Subject: [rhn-users] ftp server
I just got a machine with Redhat Linux Enterprise WS 3.0. I noticed it
does not have an ftp server (except the one with Kerberos). I am used
to Linux 8.0 and 9.0 which had the standard unix ftp server. Why aren't
these included anymore? WHere can I get them (I found some on the web
which would not compile under my version of Linux)
Thanks
P. Laval
