Greetings,
The confusion has stemmed from the fact I received a cd of the Fedora 3 core
with my linux mag. I installed it and I am being asked for additional cd's.
These cds will enhance my system finish the install and so on. Where do I
get the cds? The program so far is wonderful, very user friendly. The
graphics and all are excellent. I happen to need some of the additional
packages so that I can conduct my normal operations. I especially needed the
packages with the science applications. I was somewhat confused by just who
to contact. I hope I am in the right place. I will admit that my computer
skills are not adequate. I have though very recently been reading the
philosophy behind the open systems that you propose. I tip my hat to you. I
have been trying to place a distance between myself and the folks at
microsoft. Their digitally signed drivers and service pack2( which shut
down most of my equipment for days) left me behind schedule and realizing I
needed to know more. I have done that and have experimented with suse linux
9.1 and 9.2 both of which I found impressive but a bit overwhelming. This
Fedora 3 came at a very good time. I have alot to learn but while I am
learning I still need to use many of the basics to continue my work. I have
gone off here I apologize. If you would please advise on the other cds that
may be available for Fedora 3.

Thank You- Michael Donnelly
