I had the same problem. It is included in the RHEL ES 3.0 Extras package.
Subscribe to that through the RHN or download it from the RHN and install
manually.

Subject: [rhn-users] myqsld

I'm using RHEL ES 3.0 and I can't seem to find the MySQL server anywhere.
The client & all associated mysql utility programs are installed by no
mysqld binary.

Is it included with this version? Do I have to get it separately directly
from mysql.com?

Thanks,
Vince
