[rhn-users] Outbound mail using mail and/or sendmail

Hello,
 
I'm having some problems getting mail out to another server. The servers IP
is listed in /etc/hosts, I can ping it, but when I trie to send out mail, it
doesn't arrive at destination. What am I forgetting?

What seems odd to mee is that the mail program is connecting to the
localhost (127.0.0.1). Is it safe to say that on the same server the mail is
put in a queue for sending but is for some reason not sent? Can anyone
indicate what I've forgotten/done wrong?
