Yup. I had the same issue and stopped doing the media test during the
install! HOWEVER, the MD5's matched the .ISO when I downloaded with curl. I
figured a dodgy CD reader/writer.

Hi All,

With respect to Enterprise Linux 4 Advanced Server (AS), I am consistently
getting md5sum errors when I download the ISO's for disc's 2 and 3 from RHN.
I have used Internet Explorer (Windows 2K), Mozilla / Download Manager ,
curl, wget (RHEL WS 2.1) and Netscape (Solaris). I always get the same
(wrong) output from md5sum. Disc's 1 and 4 are fine. CD's burned with these
ISO's (i.e. disc's 2 and 3) fail the media test during installation and do
not allow a successful installation. Has anybody else seen this problem?
