For me the following passed the mediacheck

  cdrecord -v dev=2,0,0 driveropts=burnfree -dao RHEL4-i386-ES-disc1.iso

and the following failed the mediacheck

  cdrecord -v dev=2,0,0 driveropts=burnfree -isosize
RHEL4-i386-ES-disc1.iso
