[rhn-users] Interesting new process in the table

Hello,

I've been running RHEL 4.0 AS on one of our beowulf clusters.  During
the process of installing PVFS2 (Parallel Virtual File System), I was
having some strange problems accessing some device files in /dev.  A
quick lsof told me who the culprit was:

root     22526  0.1  2.1 35676 21996 ?       S    Mar28   1:11 -a 5

(mind you, this is a newer proc entry and the problem has been
resolved).

All I want to know is what exactly is this process?  My judgment leads
me to believe it is some component of udev.  Can anyone point me in the
right direction?
