[rhn-users] Oracle

Hi,
 
Having installed RedHat Enterprise ES Linux release 4 on my x86 system,
I now want to proceed and install Oracle Database. 
I first checked at Oracle's Product certification and am happy to note
that Oracle supports my version of Red Hat.
So having downloaded the respective Zip file from Oracle and cpio-ed it,
I want to install it and do this by starting up Oracle's "Runinstaller",
which then aborts and says:
 
Checking operating system version: must be  redhat-2.1, redhat-3,
etc..Failed.
 
Is there a work around ?
