Hi list,

I am running RHEL 4 U1 on HP Proliant DL 385 (Dual AMD):

>$ uname -a

All updates are installed.

I have a very strange top/ps output.

It seems that I have one CPU (second one) loaded to 99%-100%.

But I can not find any process that can waist such a lot CPU power:

$ /bin/ps -eo pcpu | sort -rn | uniq
 0.1
%CPU
 0.0

Currently I am running the kernel with "acpi=off" in /etc/grub.conf but this issue remains that same on another similar box.

Please help me to understand that is wrong and how can I get the actual picture when using "ps" or "top" tools.

Thanks,
Sergey
