Hi Michael,

This list is for RHN-related issues, not general support or 3rd party
issues.

Please find the appropriate list for your enquiry.

Subject: [rhn-users] Hibernation like function

Hi all,

I have an APC UPS hooked up to the RHEL AS 4 server with Powerchute
agent running. When the battery is about to be completely drained,
Linux will perform a shutdown like it's supposed to. My question is, is
there a setting or a third-party program out there that'll save all the
running processes/sessions of the server, so when the power is restored,
those processes will continue and not be killed by the shutdown process?

Thanks

Michael
