[rhn-users] How to expand file system

If RHEL4 is installed just run "ext2online /somefilesystem" after the LV
has been extended.
If RHEL3 is installed you'll have to unmount the filesystem and use
resize2fs - can't remember if you specify the filesystem or the device
(/dev/somevg/somelv)

Subject: [rhn-users] How to expand file system

Hi All,

We have purchased Dell PE server with Red hat installed.

The default volumes are not using all the disk space.

I am able to increase the volume size by lvextend command.

How to extend the file system in that volume so that it can use that
space?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Sudhir Damle
