[rhn-users] up2date broke up2date RHEL4

On some older systems (RH8 and RH9), I occasionally had to delete the 
temporary files in /var/lib/rpm/ and rebuild the rpmdb database:


  rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__db*
  rpm --rebuilddb
  rpm -vv --rebuilddb  /* if you want lots of output */

It's been a while since I have had to do this, but it might help (and it 
shouldn't hurt).
