I guess after reboot you'd be out of a valid kernel-firmware and thus no 
network to continue? Another way could be:

* Disable RHOS repo
* yum remove kernel-firmware && yum install kernel-firmware
* Reboot
* yum remove *openstack* // can we specify a list of packages instead? 
to avoid potentially uninstalling other customer packages
