Hello!
Found out how to fix that gateway address to a set of addresses, potentially just one - use the allocation pool normally used for DHCP. And set --enable_dhcp=False, we don't want to have that interfering. E.g.
quantum subnet-create ext_net --allocation-pool start=7.7.7.130,end=7.7.7.150 \
--gateway 7.7.7.1 7.7.7.0/24 -- --enable_dhcp=False
quantum router-gateway-set $ROUTER_ID $EXTERNAL_NETWORK_ID
(Snarfed from http://docs.openstack.org/trunk/openstack-network/admin/content/demo_logical_network_config.html )
Best regards / Mit freundlichen Gr??en

Betreff: [rhos-list] quantum router-gateway-set using deliberate IP address
Hi!
quantum router-gateway-set "service router" 4b264867-a7ad-4910-8bbd-2e74a6853bb3
gives me this port:
+--------------------------------------+------+-------------------+--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| id | name | mac_address | fixed_ips |
+--------------------------------------+------+-------------------+--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| edbf831f-3924-4907-a51c-78d785b9c51d | | fa:16:3e:97:43:af | {"subnet_id": "b6b77735-a7be-4703-801c-ce5e6961998f", "ip_address": "192.168.101.2"} |
+--------------------------------------+------+-------------------+--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
(Internal port deleted from the output)
I need to use a specific address for this router prescribed by our network plan. How can I specify this or change the 192.168.101.2? Googling turned up only instructions that use the default.
Best regards / Mit freundlichen Gr??en
