Re:Re: help with building rpm on RH62 with rpm4

Thanks for your help following your
advice I try to run find /var/tmp/gsl-root | /usr/lib/rpm/find-provides
It turns out that I have added some echo in the bashrc files
that were generating my problems... so removing the echo fixed the
problems.

But I have some other stupid question.
Now creating rpm -ba gsl.spec ends with :

Finding  Provides: (using /usr/lib/rpm/find-provides)...
Finding  Requires: (using /usr/lib/rpm/find-requires)...
Provides: libgslblascblas.so.0 libgslblascblas.so.0(GCC.INTERNAL)
libgslblas.so.0 libgslblas.so.0(GCC.INTERNAL) libgsl.so.0
libgsl.so.0(GCC.INTERNAL)
PreReq: /sbin/install-info /bin/sh /sbin/ldconfig
rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix) <= 4.0-1
Requires: ld-linux.so.2 libc.so.6 libm.so.6 /bin/sh libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.0)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.1)

Why are there some soname(GCC.INTERNAL) whitin the provides?
Is this a likely source of problems? Or can I just "forget" about it?
