So, it is tested now.
Works nicely out of the box.

Can we expected that this behaviour will still work in future versions of rpm?

Like let this be a featured behaviour of rpm macros (letting people expect this behaviour) 
and not just a  consequence of the way things works now that might not work in the 
next release.
