Yes, I'd include Phonyversion settings in rpm -qi:

-Version     : %-27{VERSION}       Vendor: %{VENDOR}\n\
+Version     : %-27{VERSION} %|PHONYVERSION?{(%-27{PHONYVERSION})}       Vendor: %{VENDOR}\n\

Funny, I was under the impression that Epoch was displayed when set. My
bio-RAM must be bit flipping ...

Indeed, why is that? I'd rather sacrifice Build Host/Date or Relocations
instead of Epoch. OTOH rpm -qi is user oriented (you can even read it!), the
evr specialist uses --qf.

But epochs will soon vanish anyhow, when the phonyversion method takes over. ;)
