RE: Perl RPM

What I am trying to do is build a RPM for Perl. The issue I am having
is when I try to install it I get some complaints about dependencies.
The dependencies are for Perl modules that don't come with the Perl
distribution itself. It doesn't make sense that the Perl RPM would
require CPAN's that are not part of the Perl distribution.

I do want to use the normal way for modules, but I have to get past the
Perl distribution itself first.

Thanks for you patience!

I don't really understand what you're asking, I'm afraid.

Why don't you want to use the normal RPM-way of generating/checking
Perl module dependencies?
