[Spacewalk-list] RE: httpd problems

should be apache:apache and 0755

This applies to /var/satellite and all directories underneath it

Hi
I cant succesfully upload a file at the moment.

I get the following error:
Red Hat Network password:
Internal server error 500 Internal Server Error
Error pushing a2ps-4.13b-57.2.el5.x86_64.rpm: Error 500Error Message:
    Package upload failed: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/var/satellite/'

I have created the /var/satellite directory and all the subseqeunt directories it required but it still fails when uploading the package

Waiting 4 seconds and trying again...

Giving up after 3 attempts

I did not see any reference made in the rhn httpd config file of the /var/satellite directory so I am not sure where permissions must be set.


I also get the following in the http log file which is a bit worrisome:
