Following myself up again....

Ok, I tried the very bad security hole hack, in Access.pm, and it didn't work. That tells me that, very definitely, there is a bug *somewhere* down there, and that $pxt->user isn't just not correctly being passed, but really has not been created.

Also, this apparently affects all manage buttons - I tried it in systems as well as channels.

Finally, it appears to me that the memory hole - where you get the 
[Tue Feb  3 14:12:41 2009] (14682) Apache2::SizeLimit httpd process too big, exiting at SIZE=507240 KB  SHARE=12664 KB  REQUESTS=3 LIFETIME=9 seconds
 seems to be due to an error in 
[Tue Feb 03 14:12:40 2009] [error] Exception raised in navi dynamic child, continuing on... at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Sniglets/Navi/Node.pm line 115.
and that that is recursively calling itself, until it runs out of memory.

This is the release I've been fighting. Any recommendations? Perhaps I should go to a previous release of .4?
