Yes, the minimum required for Satellite is 2 gigs ( as others have
suggested).  512 megs is very low for a loaded instance of tomcat and an
oracle DB :}

If you're running 64 bit, I'd recommend double that (4 gigs min) as the
apache process are 2x as big AFAIK.
