[Spacewalk-list] rhn_check installs one (1) package instead of all of 53

Moin list,
I've got a new problem with rhn_check / spacewalk. The more mysterious errors were resolved after rebuilding the client rpm database. Now a rhn_check / rhncheck -vvvv fails to install all scheduled packages. The strange thing is, that it's quite possible to repeatedly execute rhn_check and still get progress. I'm not sure where this fails, or whether this is expected behaviour. Anybody else having this problem?
