Possibly you have the 32bit oracle client packages installed instead
of the 64bit ones. On my spacewalk server libocci is found at:

  /usr/lib/oracle/10.2.0.4/client64/lib/libocci.so.10.1

See what 

  rpm -q --queryformat "%{NAME} %{ARCH}\n" oracle-instantclient-basic

outputs. On my system I get (as expected):

  oracle-instantclient-basic x86_64
