[Spacewalk-list] Spacewalk WebUI not showing available updates

As it turns out this question has been raised on this mailing list --

The solution was to run rhn-profile-sync on each server and the original 
poster added the command to cron.

Is this the "official" solution? :-)

Does anyone know why it's necessary to manually run this command on 
every server?
