>From a users/my perspective the database on a Satellite/Spacewalk box would
always be dedicated to that purpose.  It would feel most appropriate to have
it function as part of the entire service starting and stopping with
everything else.

Having an option to toggle that functionality is a really nice touch and
seems it would make everyone happy =)
