apologies, forgot to mention this. you are correct - if a package is 
excluded on a client, it will still show on the webui as an available 
update.

i don't know if there is a way to stop this, i.e. get the webui to take 
in to account client exclusions (i couldn't find anything), or even if it 
is better this way, so that it is quite apparent when an update has been witheld.
