Of course, the service is started as root so:

[root at mir ~]# echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH

[root at mir ~]#

So no explicit LD_LIBRARY_PATH is set.

However: in the jre-trace I sent before a LD_LIBRARY_PATH is defined:

<snip>
Environment Variables:
PATH=/sbin:/usr/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0/jre/lib/i386/client:/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0/jre/lib/i386:/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0/jre/../lib/i386
</snip>

I'm guessing this one has been set by the tanuki wrapper.

With kind regards,

Sander.
