Well, reviewing that page, I can see among others:
Before configuring the Oracle database, we need to pull
some packages from the Spacewalk Yum repository. Edit
/etc/yum.repos.d/spacewalk.repo:
[spacewalk]
name=Spacewalk for Enterprise Linux - $basearch
baseurl=http://spacewalk.redhat.com/yum/1.0/RHEL/5/$basearch/
So even if you are installing Spacewalk 1.2 (which I assume you do),
if you follow the document on wiki.centos.org you will have packages
from Spacewalk 1.0 installed at this point.
And I really have no idea how it affects the resulting installation.
I'm really not happy about people copying the content from
https://fedorahosted.org/spacewalk/wiki/HowToInstall
and other referenced pages and then *not* keeping those copies
up-to-date. I stopped reading that CentOS document when I found out
that it's old and not correct. I'd recommend you do the same and just
use the documentation on https://fedorahosted.org/spacewalk/wiki.
Yours,
