Thanks for that Jan but I've had to put selinux on permissive on this
box and use the 11g beta anyway for now to get over the 4GB limit 10
had in place....

My preference would be bug hunt postgresql but doing *that* along with
C6 would make life trickier... things are stable on 11g it seems since
the upgrade from 10 ....

So CentOS 6 first... then postgresql in a month or so ;)
