[Spacewalk-list] How to download all packages first, then do patching / upgrading

Hi,

Under Organization-setup (log in as SPW Administrator), you can check "Enable Staging Contents".
Systems will then fetch packages first, and then patch.

Hi,

I've patched some systems and the processes took long time. For example, two systems took over 10 hours to patch 30~40 packages. I don't know if it's a Spacewalk server's GUI issue.

Is there a way to download all packages to the local drive first, then do patching? Is yumdownloader a good tool to do the job?

Thank you!
