Franky,
I downloaded you latest version of ya-errata-import and tried running on my test server. First problem I discovered is that I had to install perl-XML-Simple. Not a big deal. After that I ran it again. Now I'm getting the following:

INFO: Setting the OS variant to Redhat, if this is wrong please remove the --redhat option
INFO: Server is running API version 11.1
INFO: API version is supported
INFO: Authentication successful
INFO: User has administrator access to this server
INFO: Checking if channel rhel-32bit-server-6-optional-fastrack exists on taeps001.publix.com
INFO: Determining architecture for channel rhel-32bit-server-6-optional-fastrack
INFO: Scanning channel rhel-32bit-server-6-optional-fastrack
INFO: Loading errata
INFO: Getting erratas from date 2013-01-12 07:43:29 till now
Can't call method "call" on an undefined value at /usr/local/sbin/ya-errata-import.pl line 310.

If I move the old version of the perl program back into place, it runs just fine. Did I miss something?

Alan

Hi all,

I though this might interest some people: I added EPEL errata support
to my errata import script called 'ya-errata-import', also with optional
data range import (as for redhat errata).
To be more generic, I changed the following 3 parameters:

- from: --redhat-startfromprevious to: --startfromprevious
- from: --redhat-startdate to: --startdate
- from: --redhat-enddate to: --enddate

Find it here, together with an example shell file for epel import:

https://github.com/liedekef/spacewalk_scripts/

Enjoy, and feedback is welcome!

Franky
