Hi Bernard,

this is exactly what spacewalk proxy is for.  So the setup would be:
Spacewalk server in site1 and proxy in site2, machines from site1
connected directly to spacewalk and machines from site2 connected via
proxy.

You may also think about setting up another proxy in site1 and routing
site1 machines through it to have the same setup both sites.
