[Spacewalk-list] repo meta data

Hello Spacewalkers,


I created a new software channel by opening the spacewalk console and
navigated to:

"Channels" -> "Manage Software Channels" -> "Create New Channel"
after creation I did:

rhnpush -v --channel=centos6.5-x86_64
--server=http://localhost--dir=/path/to/Packages

Then I created a new channel:

"Channels" -> "Manage Software Channels" -> "Create New Channel"
spacewalk-repo-sync -c swclnt2.0-el6-x86_64 --url
http://spacewalk.redhat.com/yum/2.0-client/RHEL/6/x86_64

rhnpush -v --channel=swclnt2.0-el6-x86_64 --server=http://localhost--dir=epel

To create a new distribution I copied iso, images , repodata to:

/var/distro-trees/centos6.5-x86_64

Create new distribution:

systems -> kickstart -> distributions -> new distribution

Create new kickstart profile:
systems -> kickstart -> profiles -> centos61-minimal -> operating system

Check child channel swclnt2.0-el6-x86_64.
Edit configuration files

/etc/rhn/rhn.conf cobber.host must be ipadress of server

/etc/cobbler/settings sever and redhat_managemet_server must have the
ipadress of the spacewalkserver

then cobbler get-loaders

cobbler buildiso

and boot generated.iso

when booted it gives

¨Cannot retieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: --and then
the name I gave to the repo ¨swclnt2.0-el6-x86_64¨ Please verify its path
and try again.


Any idea ?
