Ok, It’s good to know that Satellite 5x will be supported.  However, that doesn’t really answer the question.  Will “Spacewalk 3” be the open source equiv of Satellite 6, or will spacewalk just go away?

At the summit this year it was stated the 5.x series would be supported in parallel with the 6.x series until 2019.

Per RH's docs, Satellite 6 is going to manage Puppet/Foreman/Katello/Pulp/Candlepin to provide services. Does this mean / is it intended that Spacewalk will no longer be the upstream for Satellite 6+? Or is there likely to be a large sync of the Satellite 6 code into something like a Spacewalk 3 branch when it's released?
