So there hasn't been anything going on for quite some time, the
taskomatic process itself looked ok,
and did respond to the restart signal (via 'services taskomatic restart').

Not sure what to make of that - but if taskomatic goes away and ... does
nothing,
that would explain, why the updates don't show up, and other stuff is
delayed...
