[Spacewalk-list] ISS sync - no proxy option

For the command "satellite-sync", is there a way to indicate not to use a
proxy even when rhn.conf has one specified? Or is there a configuration
on the the child spacewalk to allow the command to bypass the proxy? I
see --http-proxy as an option, but if left blank or any data exists, the
command fails.

Spacewalk Version: 2.4

Issues:
        1. Attempting to utilize ISS to sync multiple internal spacewalks
with each other. However, the proxy specified in /etc/rhn/rhn.conf is
what is being sent to the Parent/Master server on the initial connection.
(See error below)
        2. Would like to avoid sending data through the proxy for internal
communication.
        3. Unable to remove the proxy from rhn.conf, because it is still
needed to perform satellite-repo-syncs with external repositories. I am
using Channel Repository scheduler via taskomatic to perform these tasks.
If I remove the proxy from the rhn.conf, then these fail.

File:
 /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/spacewalk/satellite_tools/satsync.py
provided by spacewalk-backend-tools RPM, appears to always check the
rhn.conf file if it is populated. But I do not see an option to say not
to use a proxy at all.

Command: # satellite-sync --iss-parent=myspacewalk.com -l
