[Thincrust-devel] resetting the grub splash screen

This is all candy, I realize. But still... Looking at some of the other
live-* offerings, they customize the boot process. Is there any way to
pass parameters to the appliance creator to control the grub boot
screen? I could see the following:
1) Look for another magic file other then /boot/grub/splash.xpm.gz and
use it if it exists.
2) new kickstart option (but that would be specific to the appliance
creator)
3) just document the sed commands for folks to do it themselves.
4) Possibly a custom function to call in the post to make it easier?
Thoughts?
