[Vdo-devel] No partitions on VDO device?

Hi all,
from Red Hat documentation, I can read that partition are *not* 
supported/suggested on top of VDO devices.

Can I ask why? It is only related to the static nature (ie: no or 
limited expansion) of classical partition?
