[vdo-devel] can I speed the shutdown process?

Hi:
   I build a  backup server with rhel7 vdo and dedupe. the server is
using harddisks and it will take 40-60 minutes to shutdown after data
written.

   now I want to build a new backup server with rhel8. this time I
want to know if there are some ways to make shutdown faster. can I put
uds index to ssd? or can I use more memory/harddisk space to speed up
shutdown?
