Hi Folks,

I was wondering whether anyone in this list had success passing through the GPU via OVMF with linux-4.3.1 or linux-4.2.7? The changelog [1] [2] stated that the patch for slowness boot (decompression, 100% CPU usage) [3] is already applied. In my case I’m still experiencing the slowness and 100% CPU usage on one of my threads (Intel Core i7-5820K + ASUS X99-A), so I’m still on linux-lts-4.1.14.

I had this hypothesis that the patch [3] only applies on non LGA 2011/LGA 2001-v3 platform, since I had success patching it manually from linux-4.3-mainline [4] on my previous Haswell platform (Intel Core i7-4770 + ASRock Z87 Extreme6).

I hope my hypothesis is wrong. If anyone had success, please let me know your platform. Thanks.
