The patch doesn't fix the MMCONFIG errors on the motherboard, it makes
nvidia geforce assignment work in spite of the broken motherboard.  I
reproduced the issue myself, so if it doesn't work for you, then
unfortunately my first suspicion is that the patch isn't applied
correctly or the resulting binary isn't being used.  Thanks,
