Re: [vfio-users] vfio-pci disable_vga but still t rying to switch....

aw: you can't use one card on guest and one on host? One of my card is not uefi ready i think. Is it possibly that it makes it fails?

Samuel: I enable it. and using this mode, the bios starts on all cards, but just after it switch to the r9.  on screen , the output is same as the first line. Xorg does not start.

kuba: I think you answered to the wrong mail.

The thing is, the passed through GPU stops working correctly as soon as I have something else than "-vga none" on QEMU's command line. Is there any way to make both emulated and passed through card working simultaneously?

Let's start here, what do you hope to accomplish by disabling CSM on the
host system?  Host CSM/VGA usage has no bearing on the
vfio-pci.disable_vga parameter.  That option simply disables VGA space
access to the device through vfio and therefore opts out of VGA
arbitration.  Perhaps you're reading more into the option than is
necessary.  Thanks,
