[vfio-users] input-linux patch: -input-linux: invalid option. what is the new option?

Just FYI, the input patches are in mainline qemu now:
http://git.qemu.org/qemu.git just clone the master branch. Gerd's
repository is a subset of qemu main just so he can do work, so if you want
the latest qemu goodies, the main repository is the way to go now. As Gerd
has for the patch that you listed, it's a work in progress, so mainline
qemu will have more stable input patches.

And thanks to Gerd for his hard work on these awesome patches.
