What are you trying to achieve?  If you just want to make small guests
(eg for a guest library for testing) then virt-sparsify is possibly
the tool you want.

virt-p2v converts physical machines to virtual machines.  Boot with a
live CD or over the network (PXE) and turn machines into Xen guests.
