Upgrade to rpm from rawhide.  There is a bug in rpm in 7.1 in the 
way RPM handles parameterized macros.  Very very few RPM 
specfiles contain parameterized macros.  XFree86 recently being 
one of them.  You'll need to use the newer rpm.
