This is an installation/deployment problem; the server URL hadn't been set by
admin for that box, so it defaulted to localhost.  (This particular machine
uses an in-memory database, which is wiped when the server restarts.)

Perhaps we should generate warnings whenever admin logs in, in the case where
essential variable like this have not been set.
